Our caregivers have the training and experience in dressing your loved one.
Heavenly Blessed Care direct care professionals are trained and experienced in helping choose appropriate clothing and assisting with dressing as required by the situation. We encourage our clients to dress as much as possible and help where help is needed.

You may know your loved one needs assistance getting dressed or have noticed difficulty getting up from a seated position or difficulty with walking, balance and mobility and make it impossible to put on socks, underwear, or pull up pants. Inappropriate clothing choices, such as a heavy coat in hot weather or shorts/t-shirt in winter.
HBC is available to help if your loved one is having difficulty with dressing. Our direct care professionals will ensure the following:
♥ Simplify clothing choices by keeping the closets free of excess clothing.
♥ Organize the dressing process by laying out clothing in the order that each item should be put on.
♥ Help pick comfortable and simple clothing such as cardigans, shirts and blouses that button in front are easier to work than pullover tops.
♥ Ensure that the patient has comfortable, non-slip shoes.
♥ Assist patients with selecting appropriate clothing for the weather.
♥ Ensure the patient wears clean undergarments, as poor hygiene may lead to urinary tract or other infections that further complicate care.
At HBC one of our main goals is maintaining and supporting the independence of our patients. So having adaptive clothing that allows them to be able to maintain that ability to dress themselves, without needing assistance or maybe with modified assistance, is an absolute goal and also game-changing.
